More Than Matcha
A ritual. A pause. A reason to gather.
A REASON TO GATHER.
Tchakai (茶会) is inspired by the Japanese tradition of a tea gathering — a time to slow down, connect and share a moment together.
We believe the smallest rituals often become the most meaningful. A pause. A conversation. A cup shared with someone you love.
Tchakai isn't just about what's in the cup. It's about the moments that happen around it.
Through premium matcha, handcrafted desserts and thoughtful experiences, we hope to create more reasons to gather — whatever the occasion.
Come as you are. Stay a little longer.
ABOUT OUR MATCHA
Our matcha is a first-harvest Japanese matcha from Uji, Kyoto, carefully selected for its vibrant colour, smooth flavour and balanced character.
We believe a beautiful matcha starts with the matcha itself, which is why quality is at the heart of every cup we make.
Each matcha is prepared with care and hand-whisked to order.
WELLNESS GATHERINGS
For us, wellness doesn't have to mean doing more. Sometimes it looks like slowing down.
A sunrise. Bare feet in the sand. A moment to breathe. A meaningful conversation. Sharing matcha with people you may have never met before.
Through thoughtful collaborations with people in our community, we create experiences centred around grounding, movement, conversation and connection — a chance to step away from the noise, reconnect with yourself and connect with others.
And, of course, matcha waiting at the end.
BRING TCHAKAI TO YOUR GATHERING.
From intimate celebrations and brand launches to workshops, wellness events and everything in between, we'd love to be part of your gathering.
Choose from our hand-whisked matcha menu, served fresh on location, or beautifully prepared in our signature glass jars ready for your guests to enjoy.
We'll work with you to create a Tchakai experience that feels considered, beautiful and made for the moment.
Your gathering. Our matcha.
